The truth about Kali Uchis. Because she won't tell you.

Kali Uchis has built her career off lies. She has emotionally manipulated people throughout the past 10+ years to push a fake narrative and persona about herself. She has: Harassed people. Bullied people. Doxxed people. Defamed people. Manipulated People. Stalked People. Lied to people. Mass reported people. Created anonymous accounts. Ran her own fan pages. Infiltrated her Subreddit. and more all to hide the truth about her. This website is here to tell the story of Kali Uchis, the machiavellian, who stop at nothing to push her narrative and silence others.

About the site

How to use

The sidebar has prompts to learn more about a topic. Some topics overlap, so they may appear multiple times in context.

Why a website?

The reason she tries so hard to silence people is because the evil, dark, and twisted truth about her can be proven. Other platforms have been used to share the truth to which she has successfully taken down whether it be by defemation, doxxing, harassment, or mass reporting. In order to protect the public, this site is built for uncensored, anonymous access, with infrastructure spread across multiple privacy-respecting countries and decentralized networks. It's designed to withstand takedowns, surveillance, and deplatforming through a combination of offshore hosting, cryptographic identity shielding, and mirrored storage on IPFS and the Tor network.

Why does it matter?

It matters because she reflects a cultural issue. She has also caused real harm to people and the world. The stuff she has done isn't just petty. She has a machiavellian personality which means she is highly strategic, calculated, and willing to deceive or exploit others to achieve her goals. She is characterized by manipulativeness, cunning, and a tendency to prioritize self-interest, even at the expense of others.

It should be noted that her mom has no latin heritage, is a white woman, and self-proclaimed third generation Virginian from the USA. Note that race and ethnicity are not the same though can be related, especially in the context of someone who is of mixed race and ethnicity.

2016

Kali begins wearing butt pads.

Kali is called out by a Tumblr user for plagiarizing their artwork. Tumblr comes to support the artist and acknowledge the plagiarization.

The original author also stated,
“The worst part of all of this, is Kali tried to make me feel bad for her. She tried to paint herself as the victim amongst all of this, when I am the one who had my artwork stolen. She said I was intentionally dragging her name to defame her to gain more followers. She called me thirsty.

I had never even heard of her until all this happened. I said, your name is mentioned here because you are being called out for blatant plagiarism. Not because I am trying to ride your name to fame… She said, I know what it’s like to have your ideas stolen. She said people always want to **** on up-and-coming artists.

Can you believe that? She had the hide to say this to me, I am a little-known Australian artist trying to make rent money for the week. You should have seen the comments on her original Instagram video of her copy of my work - hundreds of people complimenting her artistic ability, complimenting her (my!) design, asking to buy it, etc. It hurts to see your work blatantly ripped off like that.

She is acting like a little child that got caught stealing candy. She doesn’t seem to understand that it’s not OK to copy someone’s artwork and then share it with your 70,000+ followers under the guise of it being your own original design.

I am a small Australian artist and she is (apparently) an already well-known name. How dare she steal my design then have the hide to call me thirsty for attention when I call her out for blatant plagiarism.

From where I am standing, it looks like she’s embarrassed she got caught and too immature to come clean. She didn’t want to me to talk about this any further because she is worried for her career, but you know what? I am going to call her out for this because it’s total bullshit. The way she handled the whole situation only makes me want to talk more about this. Don’t tread on me!”

Kali Uchis drops “Only Girl” with Vince Staples.

Daniel Caesar includes a feature from her on his lead single “Get You”.

2017

Kali drops Tyrant.

An article titled “The Problem with Kali Uchis/White Latinxs” came out just a week later. This article compared her to her Por Vida look. They called her out for deciding to present herself as brown when she actually is a white Latina.
Just two days after that article, another blog writes about her entitled “Who is Kali Uchis?”

This journalist, Jaquira Díaz, had been interviewing Kali right before the debut single dropped. The author writes, “The Kali sitting across from me is not the Kali from her loner video. She’s tan, wearing little makeup”. Díaz goes on to write, “Before arriving in L.A., I listened to all her music, watched every single one of her videos, scrolled through all her social media accounts. It seemed, at least to me, that Kali had created a character. I expected her to show up and perform, to wear that persona like a costume. I wouldn’t have been surprised if she’d had pigtails and sucked on a lollipop, carried a fake gun and aimed it at some dude’s dick as we crossed the parking lot. But in Pann’s diner [restaurant they met at], she seems mellow. No pigtails, no gun.” They write about Kali’s talent, but conclude, “But I’m mainly interested in something else. Before I leave Los Angeles in a few days, I intend to find it out: who is the real Kali?”

The article also mentions, “We talk about how AfroLatinxs have been erased — excluded from TV, film, and other forms of entertainment, excluded from their own stories, as if they don’t even exist. ‘But people are speaking out about this now,’ she says. ‘Things are changing because people are speaking out against whitewashing and against slut-shaming’”.

There is a shift in the interview. The author is later made aware of controversy Kali is in. They write, “I notice a series of tweets about Kali Uchis…The posts by Esperanz Aguilera Fuentes (@SoyEsperanz), a 22-year-old Chicana/o Studies student at the University of California in Davis, compare Kali’s image on the cover of Por Vida, pale-skinned with bleached hair, to a newer promotional photo in which her features look noticeably darker. The tweets ask why Kali is ‘suddenly ‘brown’, and suggest that it seems that Kali is trying to capitalize on brownness…Over direct messages on Twitter, Kali asked Esperanz to take down the thread, to which they eventually obliged.

Later, after the criticism about her was deleted, Kali posted a picture with the caption, ‘Me minding my business while life tries to test me & people try to play w me.’ When some users responded by saying that Kali should support Latinx politics instead of just trying to look the part, she unloaded a series of angry tweets, dismissing Twitter activists for ‘spilling fake tea’, saying they could ‘swallow [her] nut’, and claiming to do more for people of color and Afro Latinidad than anyone. And finally, days later, ‘ITS 9AM & IM GONA NEED EVERYONE WHO THINKS THEY KNOW ME TO SHOW ME THE CARFAX’”…Kali was accused of using power dynamics to intimidate Esperanz into deleting their initial criticisms. ‘Intimidation comes in many forms. Power dynamics is real, I was emotionally manipulated,’ Esperanz tweeted, who then shared screenshots of Kali’s messages. Zahira Kelly, a black Latina artist and sociocultural critic, says she was subjected to violent harassment from white Latinas online after tweeting about the exchange. ‘For a cis white Latina artist with a fandom to censor a brown trans femme tweeting from their personal account is heinous’ Kelly says. ‘Kali is also riding on neo-soul that Black women created, with no respect or homage given’”.

Díaz concludes the article with, “After spending time with her new songs, after all our conversations, it’s clear that Kali’s worked hard to get here. I want to believe her when she says she wants to do better. Every single time I spoke to Kali, she spoke of wanting to be an advocate for people with less power. Every time we spoke, she said exactly what I wanted to hear. But in the end, she was still defending herself, not really acknowledging the magnitude of her own power, or what it means for Esperanz Aguilera Fuentes and Zahira Kelly to speak truth to power even while being attacked. Being an advocate for people with less power means fighting even for those who disagree with you, remembering that these are the communities you said you wanted to fight for. Until you do that, you’re really only fighting for yourself”. Adding, “Back before any of this unfolded on Twitter, while I was in L.A., trying to discern if Kali was for real or she was simply playing a character, I asked her, straight up, ‘Who is Kali Uchis?’”…When she finally did speak, she looked me in the eye. ‘A lot of times I don’t feel like I’m her’, she said. ‘A lot of times I feel like I’m helping her. But we have the same purpose’”.

Some sobering remarks from Díaz afterwards are, “I keep returning to our conversations, taking them apart, asking myself if I was, as Esperanz said, emotionally manipulated”.

2018

Kali drops her debut album “Isolation”. Still presenting herself as brown. Example 1
Example 2

Asa Asuncion would be convicted of attempted sexual assault. Initially, he is sentenced to 5 years in prison and must register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life. Kali Uchis spoke in court defending Asuncion. She said he lost money after the sexual assault because, "People don’t come to his shows. People don’t book his shows. People don’t want anything to do with him”. She told the judge he had learned from the experienced and would be suitable for probation.

Eventually, he was sentenced to 8 years probabtion, registering as a sex offender for all 8 years and then 10 years after that. He will be on the registry until 2036.

Kali posts a picture to Instagram with her butt and hips looking strikingly different. After people start accusing her of getting a BBL and other work done she posts a story explaining that it was only her diet and suggested people eat “maca powder” and “protein” and implied since her mom is Latina she naturally has an large ass. It should be noted that her mom has no latin heritage, is a white woman, and self-proclaimed third generation Virginian from the USA.

2019

Kali Uchis is sued for fraud by her former manager, Claire Bogle, in Claire Bogle, LLC v. Karly M. Loaiza. Bogle claims that she helped Kali earn $1.5 million while she managed Kali starting in 2016 until she was fired in October 2017 without cause. This firing coincided with the time Bogle was pressing Kali and being very adamant about receiving payment.

Bogle explained she was entitled to 20% of those earnings per their contract. She is quoted to say that Kali, “fabricated excuses to delay or not pay” and said that Kali, “misrepresent her receipt of gross income to pay”. She claims that Kali was purposely deceiving her. Bogle was seeking the $250,000 she was owed plus whatever income was hidden by Kali’s attempt to defraud her. The contractual fraud was arbitrated outside of court. May 22, 2020 the case was over.

Kali drops her newest single “Solita” looking noticeably different and taking over a new image. This time around she is more focused on being Latina. Before this point, she has had slight plastic surgery work and filler, but this would be the era that she goes all out.

2021

Kali’s team works meticulously to get Telepatía to go viral. Billboard writes, “The label’s marketing and digital teams could target her loyal U.S. fan base, while its Latin-focused office could help build the Latin American audience that eluded her...Two early singles that preceded “Sin Miedo’s” 2020 release didn’t do particularly well...Barrena and digital marketing senior manager Murdoc Hardy began scouring social media, YouTube and TikTok to figure out which songs fans were responding to and where. “Telepatía” kept surfacing, especially on TikTok. So they tried out an idea to boost the song into viral-hit territory”.

Kali releases her brand “Bodied by Uchis” specializing in what she calls “Colombian style” jeans allegedly made ethically in Colombia.

Soon after the official drop, fans begin complaining of inaccurate sizes and saying the size chart was not clear. Kali retaliates by accusing her fans of not being able to read.

Eventually she beings harassing a customer/fan in the direct messages on Instagram. Kali begins emotionally manipulating the fan who was leaving an honest review. It got so bad that Kali begins asking the customer, on voice memo, “Do you want me to kill myself?”. She goes on to post threatening stories implying that her and her fans will hurt people.

Kali begins harassing an instagram user @igfamousdana who makes commentary about plastic surgery and pop culture. According to Dana, she wants to spread clarity about how much celebrities lie and hide the work they have had done, ensuring that objectively she doesn’t mind surgery, just the dishonesty.

After a post discussing the (obvious) work Kali had done, Kali begins her harassment campaign. Kali uses her own account, burner accounts, and even her assistant, Samantha Vargas ’, account, proving that her team was complicit in the harassment. Dana writes about the incident in an Instagram post saying, “Normally after I post a celeb, I don’t get really mean finstas coming for me in my DMs. USUALLY they stay in the comments or they’re in my DMs trying to prove to me that my post is false. But once in awhile I’ll get ONE finsta that comes for me personally normally criticizing my appearance or comparing me unfavorably to the celeb in question, and USUALLY that is the finsta of the celeb or someone else from their camp. (See last slide for who I believe may be Kali et al.

They also commented back really quick, and she was online on her real page within 5 mins of that.)…I want to make it clear: I like Kali Uchis, I’ve seen her perform live in Houston, I think she’s pretty, and I was only showing that despite claiming her butt is natural, the facts are she’s had a #BBL.

One day, I hope more of y’all realize I’m not making things up, I really do have an eye for this after working in it for so long, and that I mean no hate to the celebs I post.

I just want y’all to learn what these things are, what they look like, what can be achieved, and why you don’t look like these ‘all natural celebs’”.

She made a fully encompassing podcast episode where she shared in the caption, “She went into what I like to call the ‘Procedure Denial Cycle’ that celebrities and influencers often use in an attempt to disprove speculation. Listen as I break down her arguments and discuss the tactics celebs use to rewrite the narrative with their so-called ‘my truth’”.

2022

Kali releases her first solo release in almost two years, “NO HAY LEY”. A music video is released showcasing her naked body and clear video manipulation on her body. In this video, she looks particularly different from herself in the start of her career. It appears she has had extreme plastic surgery, filler, and other workings to make her look like a brown Latina, the fake persona she has had over the past few years.

2023

Red Moon in Venus drops on March 3, 2023.

One day before her show in Colombia at the Estéreo Picnic Festival, Kali Uchis cancels. After major backlash and fury, she eventually agreed to still perform. Many fans saw this move as especially shady since she has used her family’s Colombian heritage (and lied about her own Colombian heritage), yet backed out one day before what was supposed to be a sort of “hometown” show. RMIV tour part 1 starts on April 25, 2023 and ends on May 30, 2023.

With no explanation, Kali Uchis drops out of Austin City Limits festival in Texas just days before she was supposed to perform.

Kali announces the second leg of the RMIV tour beginning September 22, 2023 until October 3, 2023. It had 6 additional shows in the west coast - 4 being in California.

Kali posts an instagram story lying about her second leg completely selling out.

Kali began the second leg of her tour wearing puffy, voluminous dresses, calling it her “bubble dress era” on Instagram - seemingly preempting pregnancy rumors. A viral TikTok showing her in one of the outfits was later removed for copyright, leading the public to believe it was due to the pregnancy speculation in the comments. Kali began addressing the rumors on Instagram, calling them body shaming and harassment.

In October 2023, the first snark page for Kali Uchis was created after her main reddit page was being heavily censored and posts about her acting out kept being shared.

Kali announces her fourth studio album, ORQUÍDEAS.

2024

Kali announces she is pregnant the day before ORQUÍDEAS is released.

ORQUÍDEAS is released on January 12, 2025.

It became clear she was using claims of “harassment” to manipulate public perception and conceal her pregnancy, aiming to maximize album sales by revealing the news just one day before the release.

Overtime Kali harasses the snark subreddit. She uses multiple burner accounts making similar insults she tells people from her main accounts when she argues over and over. The burner accounts were also consistent with grammar and emoji usage. After repeatedly abusing Reddit’s reporting system, she managed to get the first snark subreddit taken down.

Kali launched a new brand, “Homebody by Uchis”, promoting it as clean and non-toxic. However, the public quickly pointed out that several of its ingredients, such as Red 40, are known for their toxicity and are banned in multiple countries.

Her response to the backlash was that she’s “figuring it out as [she] goes along,” which many found troubling given her initial promise of a clean, non-toxic brand. Consumers criticized the statement as irresponsible and misleading, accusing her of false advertising, especially since some of the ingredients used are considered toxic and banned in various countries.

2025

Releases “Sincerely,” on May 9, 2025.

Using the same tactics and before, Kali is able to get the second snark page banned. The third page immediately goes up continuing to document publicly all her controversies and lies. She begins harassing the subreddit and users on burner accounts more than ever.

Goes to the Billboard Women In Music 2025 event and explains on the red carpet she had a “life changing” event happen and that she can’t talk about it yet. Almost as if she was excited to say.

Suddenly right before “Sincerely,” drops, she reclaims her mom in an instagram post talking about her death earlier in the year which was the “life changing” event that she initially seemed excited to announce. Many noted it was a rather strange way to announce your mom’s death. It appears as if she doesn’t seem to try and hide the fact she was looking to cash in on the incident, similar to how she did with her pregnancy and her last album drop.

She posted a story of Billboard’s top 5 artist in the world for her drop week. She completely covers Sleep Token’s face and name, causing confusion online about her motives. While some of her defenders insisted it was merely a coincidence, others called it out for what it appeared to be, jealousy, especially since the band had just claimed the number one spot on the Billboard 200 beating hers out.

Eventually, Kali would make a false accusation about Sleep Token. She tells someone in the comments of her own TikTok she covered Sleep token because they were in “black face”. She is immediately hit with harsh criticism. She is being called out on multiple platforms, in particular, TikTok.

A Sleep Token fan posted a TikTok criticizing Kali, highlighting her past defense of rapists along with other problematic behavior. In response, Kali spent the night engaging in heated arguments across TikTok, both in comments and direct messages. The situation quickly escalated, and she began going viral - accused of being a rape apologist, a gender traitor, and of race baiting, particularly after she falsely accused the artist who topped her on the Billboard 200 of being racist. In turn, users began calling out Kali herself, claiming she was the one exhibiting racist behavior.

Lies

Fake charity

In 2018, Kali Uchis publicly announced the creation of a charitable initiative titled “Visión, Valores y Vida”, which she described as a means of giving back to her hometown of Pereira, Colombia. According to Kali, the charity’s mission was to provide aid to underserved and disenfranchised communities in the region. She pledged that all proceeds from her Depop clothing sales would be directed toward this cause, a statement that appeared in her store bio and remained there until it was quietly removed in 2024.

Despite the public nature of the announcement, little documentation or evidence of the charity’s activities has emerged in the years since. The only widely circulated example of philanthropic outreach associated with the initiative was a 2018 trip to Pereira, where Kali was photographed distributing Puma merchandise. Beyond that, there have been no reports, photos, or social media updates showing continued charitable work or engagement with the community. Notably, “Visión, Valores y Vida” never had an official website, public donation platform, or social media accounts. The only form of contact shared was an email address included in a single Instagram caption. This was an address that was not visibly connected to the charity or hosted on a branded domain.

The absence of formal infrastructure and a lack of public reporting on the initiative’s operations or outcomes is suspicious. While Uchis consistently promoted the idea that her Depop proceeds supported charitable work for nearly six years, there is no publicly available record of how much was raised or how those funds were distributed. As of 2024, all references to the charity have been removed from her Depop profile, and no additional information has been provided regarding its current status, financial transparency, or long-term impact. The discontinuation of the initiative without further explanation has led to ongoing speculation about whether “Visión, Valores y Vida” ever fully materialized beyond its initial announcement.

Kali Uchis Lying About Plastic Surgery

Kali Uchis has lied about getting plastic surgery for years now. As mentioned in multiple places on the site, she has harassased and bullied anyone who chooses to point out the fact that she has. Included is the infamous story where Kali claimed maca powder made her ass grow to deny claims. The rest of the pictures speak for themselves.

Brown Façade

Kali Uchis Lying About Her Identity

Karly Marina Loaiza was born in Alexandria, Virginia 1993. She was born to a Colombian father and American mother of colonial-European ancestry. Loaiza graduated from TC Williams High School in 2011. Regarding her childhood, she has stated that she “grew up in Colombia” and “learned how to read and write in Spanish first” on numerous occasions. She has claimed that her family had moved “back” to Virginia at different points in her life. She has claimed to have lived in Colombia from “birth” until she was 4/5, 7, 9 and 12 on different occasions. Kali also occasionally admitted to being born in Virginia later in her career, but the fact that she would lie in the first place is strange. It’s one thing to say you grew up somewhere or say your ethnic background, but to lie about being born in a different country on multiple occasions and deny that you ever lied is even stranger. She wasn’t a confused child in any of the interviews where she lied, she was a grown woman. Yes she could’ve gotten the age of her “leaving Colombia” wrong from it being so long ago, but she never “left Colombia for Virginia” to begin with. She visited Colombia occasionally and returned right back to Virginia where she was born and raised. She would almost always phrase it as though she was immigrating. She even joked about “her green card” in her Kinda Neat podcast interview and claimed she “didn’t know” why her family decided to settle in Alexandria, Virginia as if she wasn’t born there. There’s a difference between misremembering and maybe not getting every fact right and boldfaced lying.

As for her lying about her age and now being committed to being born in 1994, it’s possible she simply lied thinking it would help protect her privacy. However, she already stated her real birth year before she decided to change it. She even had trouble remembering and calculating her fake age in certain interviews. According to her wikipedia revision history, a revision by an anonymous user changed her birth year from 1993 to 1994 on May 17 2017. There was no source provided, but it was the first account of her age being falsely changed. The articles that were previously cited for her real birth year and fake birth place were all removed. Articles that were written before 2017 detailing Kali’s age or birth year were edited to reflect the new birth year Kali started to claim.

To those who think Kali lying about her birthplace doesn’t matter, here is why it does. At the very least it shows just how weird she is for lying about something that could technically not matter if it wasn’t for her intentions. Kali was and is a white woman who doesn’t want to take accountability for her white privilege. Rather than actively choose to not be racist and grow as a person, Kali’s career-long grift of her mestiza facade has been a way for her to avoid accountability. She thought that by planting the seeds of being “born and raised in Colombia” and “100% Colombian”, she wouldn’t have to worry about being called out for her white privilege. Over the years, through progressively darkening her hair and skin and modifying her appearance, she morphed into a sort of “brown butterfly”. Nowadays when anyone comments or questions her race/ethnicity/nationality or anything to the effect, her fans will be quick to rebut citing Kali’s lies. “She’s Colombian”, “she was born and raised in Colombia”, “Spanish is her first language”, “she’s fluent in Spanish”, “she’s not white” etc. Now do you see how the lies became a problem? Even when her fans can “google” like to ask others to, they insist upon repeating Kali’s lies with the intentions of painting her the same way she painted herself. Then they’ll say “why do you care so much”, why do they care and feel the need to lie for someone else? Do they not see any issue with lying about a white woman’s race and nationality? Do they not speak Spanish fluently enough to understand they’re defending a no sabo with a forced accent?

Especially in this day and age. When racism and anti-immigration is rampant and the violent murders and unjust imprisonment of BIPOC are happening at an alarming rate, even something as seemingly trivial as a white half-Latina portraying herself as a POC is part of the problem. There have been countless instances of conservative “memes” saying things like “deport them, but not the "big booty Latinas”. The plight of real black and brown Latinas is only worsened by the stereotypes and those who contribute to the stereotypes about them. On top of real racism, colorism, featurism and misogyny they face, a white Latina who asserted her space in their community doesn’t have to face any of the injustices they do while reaping all the benefits. That is why it’s such a big issue. That is why even as recently as May 2025, Kali refuses to acknowledge her white-American heritage when she offered to answer the question and was repeatedly given the opportunity to do so. She even mocked it as though it wasn’t true. The truth will never be shaken out of her. She refuses to own her whiteness and in turn she refuses to accept herself.

Turning Brown

Kali’s natural skin color, pale pink. Even with a natural tan as visible in some photos here, Kali could never achieve a naturally bronzed appearance. Despite claiming she is a person of color and acting like her self-tanned streaky skin is due to her half-Colombian heritage, Kali has always had to rely on spray tan and foundation to exoticize herself. As you can see in a photo here, Kali’s self-tanner stained her white shirt. Kali couldn’t even get to that level of tan without assistance.

Although Kali is a natural blonde, her bleach blonde hair was probably used as a way to make her skin look darker in contrast to her hair. As you can see, she has always had trouble finding the right foundation shade and applying her self-tanner.

TB1 TB2 TB3 TB4 TB5 TB6 TB7 TB8 TB9 TB10 TB11 TB12 TB13 TB14 TB15 TB16 TB17 TB18 TB19 TB20 TB21 TB22 TB23 TB24 TB25 TB26 TB27 TB28 TB29

As Kali’s career blossomed, so did her “indigenous Colombian genes”. She dyed her hair to her root color, a light brown, then to black. She also started tanning her skin more and more and kept her skin pretty consistently dark. She also began to edit her body and allegedly started getting work done. In the timeline of her career, she was a pale-skinned blonde from 2012-2016, with brief stints at the tanning salon. Then around 2017 she became a light brunette with a golden tan. Around 2018-2019, she fully exoticized herself from hair to skin and allegedly beyond. What she couldn’t achieve in real life, she made up for on facetune. From warping her body, to darkening her skin, two editing tools she still utilizes to this day when pale and insecure.

TB30 TB31 TB32 TB33 TB34 TB35 TB36 TB37 TB38 TB39

Kali’s natural hair color, which she has occasionally sported throughout recent years. You can see her light roots coming through in the picture of her with wet hair. You can also see the difference between her roots looking more natural with light brown hair than with black hair. Kali, like many natural baby blondes, transitioned into having light brown hair as an adult.

TB40 TB41 TB42 TB43 TB44

Kali’s tan complexion is unnatural and the result of bad makeup, bad tanning lotions, bad editing and bad character. While Kali is half-Colombian, she is also half-white American. It’s not just that she gets the occasional tan and dyes her hair black, it’s the intention behind it. She wants to be perceived as an exotic, racially ambiguous Latina. This is harmful to actual black and brown Latinas who are not only systemically discriminated against and marginalized, but socially sexualize and stigmatized. Kali, as a white Latina, has the privilege of parading herself as an exotic stereotype while actual black and indigenous Latinas face femicide, racism, colorism and other forms of oppression that Kali has never experienced as a privileged white woman. No matter how much orange bronzer she doesn’t blend into her neck, she will never be a brown Latina. The tan lines speak for themselves. So do the blurry, brown airbrushing effects.

TB45 TB46 TB47 TB48 TB49 TB50 TB51 TB52 TB53 TB54

The difference is not normal. The fact that she has even had the mindset to edit her skin darker, then failed to edit properly, is strange. Why would anyone who claims to be confident and love their heritage pretend to be someone they’re not in order to be perceived as certain way? She has always claimed her Latin identity over her white identity and has gone to no ends trying to hide her white side. Living in modern day brownface to perform exotic Latinidad is just a small aspect of Kali’s identity issues and her intent to hide them.

TB55 TB56 TB57 TB58 TB59 TB60 TB61 TB62 TB63

From proudly calling herself “Mona Blanca” (white girl) to transforming into a stereotype of the culture she claims to love and respect so much, Kali’s identity issues run deep.

Racism

Racist Birthday Post

The infamous racist birthday video that a Kali fan page bought for her. The fan page paid for an exploitative video of African men to say happy birthday to Kali Uchis. Kali followed them at the time and still does to this day.

Although Kali was on a birthday trip at the time, she was seemingly aware of the situation. She must have been made aware of its controversy through reddit, since most of the comments on instagram reel were either positive or deleted. However, the post did receive backlash on Kali’s snark reddit which called out the unnecessary exploitation and racism of the video.

Coincidentally, Kali posted a video of her dancing with a dolphin captioned “imagine hating me and I’m just somewhere like”. Then an hour later she posted a picture showing off how much she loved her son’s curls. It’s important to remember that Kali was and is following the fan page that posted the video. She is also allegedly close contact with the fan page.

After the brunt of the backlash, the fan page posted that they’re a “corporate baddie” and “proud of Kali Uchis”. Then they posted a photo of a random blonde woman with Kali Uchis lyrics and a message of love and gratitude in the caption. Kali liked and commented on the post, “exactly honey”. It can be assumed that they were probably in conversation about the incident and wanted to act unbothered by the incident.

The fan page kept the video up for a few days then posted and deleted an old photo of Little Miss Flint, most likely to make up for their racism. They eventually deleted the racist reel as well. They have deactivated and reactivated their account due to multiple instances of being called out for racism.

Kali is still in close contact with this fan page. So close that they were even given the special assignment to share messages from Kali’s fans to Kali herself. This came after they were publicly called out on Kali’s own fan sub on reddit for saying the n word in chats that Kali was a part of and not apologizing for it. They are not black. Once again, Kali still follows this account.

Appropriating Black Culture

Kali appropriating black culture by wearing various culturally inappropriate hairstyles. When she wore bantu knots on her birthday, she was rightfully called out by many people. She dm’ed a black fan who called her out claiming it wasn’t cultural appropriation because the bantu knots were for heatless curls. She immediately blocked the fan so she wouldn’t have to engage in a productive conversation about her willful ignorance. She was 26 at the time and has continued to appropriate black hairstyles and black culture in general.

Fetishization

This is the same woman who directed a video where she kidnaps and leaves a black man stranded in the desert. While not the most overt display of racism, it definitely has fetishy undertones. Considering her dating history and comments she has made about black men and black people in general, she has issues and her fetishization of black people is not to be taken lightly. F1 F2

Fake Activism

Kali Uchis using a BLM protest as a photo op. Her sign reads “how many black bodies”. While again not blatantly racist, it sounds disparaging to refer to victims of police brutality and murder as “bodies”. It is reductive language and it reflects how Kali views black people.
Kali Uchis’ Black Lives Matter “poem” and her ill-conceived yet earnest message.

FA1 FA2 FA3 FA4 FA5

Kali being ignorant, insensitive and not being honest about her politics. Particularly in regard to Trump and issues that affect black people and Latinos. In an old instagram post, her long winded, pseudo intellectual caption was about how no one wins in a rigged system.

Among her scattered talking points that she struggled connecting coherently, she interestingly stated “people that sell drugs are treated worse than rapists here”. Which is ironic considering her defense of a sexual assaulter.

She also made most of the argument about how Latinos struggle and called black people “blacks”. While it’s not a slur, it is a micro aggression that is potentially highly offensive to the black community. Similarly to referring to jewish people as “jews” is pejorative.

Then she finished her rant by saying, “but ‘all lives matter’ right?”, referencing the movement “Black Lives Matter. Most of her rant wasn’t even about Black people though. In her attempt to critique “all lives matter”, she managed to make a “Latino lives matter” statement essentially and disparaged black people with her wording all in one fell swoop.

Kali was once again insensitive to the black community in 2017 when she posted a picture of her cat captioned “Bunny says hands up always means don’t shoot”. Black people were being murdered due to police brutality and that was the best message Kali could think to post.

Back in 2015, Kali tweeted “no matter who becomes president, Donald Trump will still forever be a cunt & never get into heaven tho”. This may be seen as a post condemning Trump, yet Kali didn’t vote in any election until 2024. For her to publicly claim she hated Trump and trash him only for her to not even vote against him is astounding. She talked the talk but couldn’t walk the walk as an American citizen who was of age and free to vote against the racism she claimed to be against. She couldn’t vote for the Latinos and black people that she profits off daily.
FA7 FA8 FA9 FA10
It wasn’t until June 2025 that Kali decided to share a political message on her instagram. After an entire election season and almost half way into Trumps first year of his second term. Kali was only moved to post about how to interact with ICE agents because a fan in a group chat that she is in called her out for her silence. ICE raids have been happening in her community of Los Angeles since very early on in 2025 and so have protests. Kali’s silence to her mostly Latino fanbase when she is online 24/7 and has a big platform to help them get resources and information is harmful. Instead she would rather fight people in comment sections post messages overcompensating for her hateful actions.

Never forget when Kali Uchis used the death and brutalization of Colombians to promote a music video. No she did not apologize and she has done nothing since to help Colombians despite bragging about her wealth Context for the hashtag: During the pandemic, the Colombian economy crashed and left large percentages of Colombians unemployed, starving and unable to afford basic necessities like food and water. Because of their living conditions, Colombians gathered to peacefully protest and were met with violence. From police murdering to raping people, and many left injured. The hashtag was used to bring awareness to the police brutality Colombians were facing.

Kali Uchis, half-Colombian, decided to promote a clip of her through the barrel of a gun. How tasteful. At the time she posted a few infographics on instagram before tweeting this. Then she seized the opportunity to promote her “100% Colombiana” self and swiftly deleted when called out. She has never mentioned anything about it since, she didn’t share any resources for aiding Colombians. She hasn’t helped Colombians since she got a Puma deal to give some kids shoes and backpacks and buy herself some maca powder.

To this day, instead of using the wealth she brags about to help anyone, she shits on poor people just to make herself feel better. She even said that the meaning being her song “Never Be Yours” is about how poor people have to live off of coupons in a derogatory way. This is who Kali Uchis is, an opportunistic, self-important narcissist who uses her half-Colombian heritage as a grift. She doesn’t “do more for POC” than anyone as she claims. She voted for Trump and has been silent about all the tragedies facing the communities she profits off of. Instead of hating on Rachel Zegler and saying they don’t accept her as one of their own, Colombians need to reject Kali for all of the awful things she has said about them and all the lying she has done to profit off of them. Like when she called all Colombians "moochers or pedophiles and rapists and murderers"

Bad Business/Scams

Obsesión

On October 8th, 2024, Kali herself allegedly went on a rant on her now defunct yet still running business account. The rant was prompted by a comment on one of the accounts posts claiming there would be no restock. Someone expressed their disappointment in how Kali managed her business, as they had purchased an item that was then sold out. This was very typical for Kali’s Colombian Jean brand, Obsesión, as she has had the same issue every drop with customers not receiving their order because of the business’ lack of stock and transparency on their stock.

On top of that, when customers have needed customer support, they have had less than pleasant experiences with Kali’s customer support team. Not only do her brands have poor support services, but her own instagram business accounts, alleged to be run by her, also go on the defensive when called out. After her business account replied to the unsatisfied customer, the account prompted their follower’s to comment on their experiences with the brand. Of course making sure to include mainly positive experiences, only one mention of a refund issue and obvious spam to make herself look like a victim in the situation.

UB1 UB2 UB3 UB4 UB5 UB6 UB7 UB8 UB9 UB10

When called out yet again by another commenter who claimed Kali’s business stories were unprofessional and manipulative, they responded manipulatively claiming they just wanted to show their “appreciation”. Definitely not trying to cover up the rightful call outs Kali had been getting since the brand launched. The apparent social media manager, Arlen, then went even further in proving the brand’s credibility by showing WhatsApp screenshots between herself and the manufacturer of the jeans in Colombia.

Despite having run the business since 2022, only then did Kali’s business show a glimpse of how the jeans are actually made. At the very least, this shows the lack of transparency Kali has in her businesses. On top of that, this was only in response to criticism to try to prove that her business was beyond critique. Kali and her brands do not have high standards in any regard. She conducts her businesses unprofessionally with a heart emoji and a term of endearment to manipulate her fans into forgetting the time when she herself asked a paying customer if she should “kill herself”. This is an instance of Kali being manipulative and unprofessional from her own business account. Voice not after voice note using manipulative, violent language to gaslight a fan to feel bad for her because she was having to deal with a poorly run business. The cherry on top of the manipulative voice note rant was at the end of the video the fan posted, where Kali claimed people will support her regardless because they liked the way she handled the situation. As she’s in the middle of cursing and gaslighting someone, she praises herself for her behavior and actions. Textbook narcissism. This was not the only person she dm’ed or replied to, as her first launch was rampant with complaints from paying customers who were unsatisfied with their service.

UB11 UB12 UB13 UB14 UB15 UB16 UB17

And despite all of Kali’s protesting against harmful chemicals, her own jeans contain elastane as the key ingredient in their “butt lifting” technology. Not only would it be harmful to wear by Kali’s own standards, but it is especially harmful to make and it is harmful for the environment. The the Colombian women who manufactured her jeans had to deal with harmful chemicals for Kali to profit off of.

UB18 UB19 UB20 UB21

Another instance of Kali using her business account to bully and manipulate people. As a celebrity, you can be especially shielded from unsolicited comments. Yet Kali thrives off of any attention she can get, and when she receives hate she immaturely fights back then retreats. Not only did she reply from her personal account on her Homebody business account to a hate comment, but she then posted a screenshot of the interaction on her Bodied by Uchis business account. Then she took it another step further and called the person’s whole account out and posted a story pitying herself for being body shamed and touting “grace for others”. The irony on top of the manipulation is actually unsettling. It should be noted that the user is censored here, but Kali doxxed them when she posted.

Homebody

When Kali launched Homebody she used false advertising. She promised no harsh chemicals and all clean ingredients. Her fans/customers rightfully called the brand out for having red40, which was listed on her website ingredients. Eventually, Kali claimed they were changing the formulas. Then all of the lips glosses were clear, even though on her website they showed colors as if they were still going to be tinted. They were not.
Kali also claimed on Instagram that none of her clothing products were see through. However, when products arrived that statement was proven to be false.

Bullying/Hypocrisy

Rude, harassing, and lying

Kali being rude, harassing and lying online. Then some examples of stories that she posts to overcompensate for her true character and bad behavior.

A user on TikTok (censored here) left a comment telling Kali that lips don’t grow as Kali had claimed when she denied having lip filler. Kali then chose to reply to the user’s comment in a video with the comment embedded, calling the user a dumb bitch.
Äyanna made a TikTok with a caption talking about how she helped write a part of Kali's song, and Kali immediately made Instagram stories directed towards Äyanna disavowing the claim, which sent fans to her page where they bullied her and even made racist comments. It should be noted that Kali has a habit of using her fans to attack people, and this instance was no different. Also, Äyanna is credited as a writer proving Kali lied.

B7 B8 B9 B10 B13

A music reviewer/commentator included "Labios Mordidos" briefly in a Reels segment where he made light criticism of multiple popular songs at the moment, and Kali went to her story to shade the user. Subsequently, her fans began harassing the user. His username and face are censored here, but Kali blasted everything.

Kali gave fans a username for them to go report and inevitably harass.

Kali going to another profile to find any comments criticizing her and then arguing with them and making toxic comments to the user.

Running Her Own Fan Pages

Kali Uchis possibly running her own Chilean fan account on instagram. On September 24th 2024, Kali posted a few stories documenting her day on instagram. Two stories in which she was wearing a white top with curled hair. Kali only posted stories on instagram that day and has stated numerous times she is inactive on other social media platforms. However, coincidentally her Chilean instagram fan page posted a story around the same time Kali posted her stories with a similar caption. Kali only posted two stories on this day wearing that top with that hair and makeup. Yet the story her Chilean fan page posted was a completed new and different clip from either of the ones Kali posted. They used the same font, used the word “ladies”, and used exclamation marks in their captions.

It’s important to note how often her Chilean fan page writes in English over Spanish in the first place. When they do write in Spanish, they write in Spanglish similarly to Kali. Why wouldn’t a Chilean fan page write in their native language? Why do they type with the same phrasing and unique typing style? (Kali uses random captions and has an erratic use of spaces and punctuations). More importantly, why do they occasionally post things that Kali has never posted anywhere else? Unlike her other fan pages, the Chilean fan page has a habit of speaking on Kali’s behalf. The exclusive content they post almost seems like Kali accidentally switched to the wrong account and posted obliviously.

Kali Uchis the Rapist Lover

Young Gleesh. Kali Uchis was a character witness in his trial and stood by him from 2015-2018 after he got charged and then went to trial. He was found guilty of attempting to rape a woman. She said his charges made him lose money because people stopped booking him and that he learned from what he did. She said that example after he was found guilty to help him get a lighter sentence. She admitted his guilt.

The victim was unconscious and her friend found him on her and pulled him off and immediately then took the victim to the hospital. Young Gleesh fled the scene. Kali lies about her involvement by saying she thought he was innocent when court records prove that is not true, as mentioned above, she admitted his guilt.

Young Gleesh has to register as a sex offender for 18 years. That is the man Kali Uchis supported for 3 years.

Understand that women who defend men’s rapes, especially legally, are considered gender traitors. Even more dangerous than just a rape apologist. It’s a practice in sex trafficking where women are used to down play what men did. Now, no one saying there was trafficking, but Kali’s testimony against the victim wasn’t by accident. Her testimony said he was guilty, but asked for him to be let off easy trying to get him sympathy.

A quote from a jornalist who examined the case, “Asuncion's girlfriend, singer Kali Uchis, told the jury her boyfriend has matured in the years since the incident and would be suitable for probation. Uchis, whose real name is Karly-Marina Loaiza, said the charges have ruined her boyfriend's rap career and limited his ability to provide for his two children."

Here are sources on how Kali Uchis helped Young Gleesh get out of jail time after he was found guilty of attempting to rape an unconscious woman:

What happened to the victim
Kali’s involvement

Kali’s 3 year anniversary post for Yung Gleesh, a convicted sexual assaulter. She had nothing but love for him. Considering they started dating in 2014 and he sexually assaulted a woman in 2015, Kali posted this after the sexual assault happened. She was aware of the fact that he cheated on her and that he hurt another woman and this is what she chose to say about their relationship and him as a person. She stayed with him until 2018.

Kali gawking over her relationship with Young Gleesh and proudly admitting they have been together since 2014, which means she stayed with him for years after he tried to rape a woman and then eventually, in 2018, testified for Young Gleesh, admitting his guilt of attempted rape and asking for leniency from the court.

Another anniversary post from Kali where she proclaims her love for him.

Kali's baby daddy, Caleb Zackery Toliver aka Don Toliver, has a rape allegation from a woman in Houston which won't be posted here so as not to cause harassment of his alleged victim. The alleged victim posted stories where she said she was raped by Don Toliver in 2019.

Even though this allegation was widespread across many platforms and even made headlines, Don has never addressed the allegation. Considering the allegation is still talked about today and Don still chooses to ignore it, it suggests he may be guilty and that his legal team told him to stay silent in order for the story to fade away. It would seem that someone who knew they were innocent would make a formal statement denying the allegation.

The victim also shared a screenshot of her direct messages on Twitter when Don initially reached out to her.

R6

Here are her statements.

R7

Also, in a now deleted tweet, he proclaimed, "ima get on tape so u cant say it was rape". This tweet, which he posted years before the alleged rape, proves he is not against raping someone, and it would be premeditated since he would set up a video recorder knowing he would use that as a defense after the rape.
